• Ernie Blake and Thunderbird Roads are closed to all through traffic; local traffic only.  Utility and road work continues along Ernie Blake Road with restricted vehicle access and regular intermittent closures.  Pedestrian access will remain, but please exercise caution and remain aware of Construction Zones.  Construction work hours are 8:00 am – 5:30 pm Monday – Friday.  At times, project scheduling requires limited work outside regular hours.

• There is a planned power outage Monday morning in the Ernie Blake/Thunderbird area beginning at 8:00 am and expected to last until noon.  Kit Carson Electric Coop is currently notifying affected property owners.

• A natural gas line extension project will require the closure of Twining Road from just south of Phoenix Switchback to Zap’s Road beginning Monday morning, June 29^th until Friday July 3^rd.  Again, only local traffic in the work zone will be allowed.  A detour map utilizing Kachina Road is attached.  The detour and road closure is expected to occur between 8:00 am – 5:30 pm daily.
