Everyone is invited to attend an open house to discuss the 1st draft of the Village of Taos Ski Valley Master Plan. The Master Plan is a long range plan that includes a series of goals, policies and objectives to guide future development of the Village. It consists of eight separate but interrelated elements. Each of the elements was presented to the Planning & Zoning Commission for their review and feedback. The Village Council was also briefed on the status of the Master Plan and was provided with copies of each of the draft elements.
This will be an open house format instead of a one-way presentation and slide show. There is not an official start and end time. Just come to the Edelweiss whenever you can between the designated times and ask whatever specific questions you might have.
The dates and times are:
Saturday, January 2nd 3:00 to 5:00 pm
Sunday, January 3rd from 12:00 to 2:00 pm

At the July 14, 2015 Village Council meeting, the Wireless Communications Master Plan was adopted. This plan was a basis for regulations that have been added to the Village zoning code to regulate the construction and siting of wireless communication towers.
At the July 14, 2015 Village Council meeting, the Roadway Improvement Element of the Village Master Plan was adopted. This element will be part of the complete Master Plan when it is complete and adopted in its entirety.
