ORDINANCE 04-14

AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT

 TO ORDINANCE 97-14, AMENDED LODGER’S TAX ACT

FOR THE VILLAGE OF TAOS SKI VALLEY

BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the Village of Taos Ski Valley, New Mexico that the following amendment be made to Ordinance 97-14:

1. Section 4. Imposition of Tax shall be amended to include the following language:

The imposed occupancy tax of three and one-half percent (3.5%) of gross taxable rent for lodging within the Village paid to vendors is hereby increased to five percent (5%) effective July 1, 2004.
