VILLAGE COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING

MINUTES

VILLAGE ADMINISTRATION OFFICE

TAOS SKI VALLEY, NEW MEXICO

 

I.        CALL TO ORDER & NOTICE OF MEETING

Mayor King called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m.  The notice of the meeting was properly posted.

 

II.       ROLL CALL

Mayor King, Councilors Bennett, Stagg, and Wittman were present. Councilor Wiard called in by telephone. Staff members present included Village Administrator Bruce Kelly and Village Clerk/Treasurer Vanessa Chisholm.

 

III.          APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA

MOTION:  To approve the agenda as submitted. 

Motion: Councilor Stagg Second: Councilor Wittman Passed: 3-0

 

IV.     NEW BUSINESS

PUBLIC HEARING: Liquor License Application for Insurance Management Corp, dba Amizette Inn and Restaurant.

The applicant is seeking a restaurant liquor license (beer and wine) on-premise consumption only.  The application submitted to NM Alcohol and Gaming was attached to the agenda for Council information.

 

Mayor King opened the public hearing.  Speaking for were Linda and James Walsh of the Amizette Inn.  No one spoke against.  The Mayor closed the public hearing.

 

MOTION:  To approve the application for a liquor license (beer and wine) for Insurance Management Corp, dba Amizette Inn and Restaurant.

Motion: Councilor Wittman Second: Councilor Bennett Passed: 3-0

 

V.              MISCELLANEOUS

The lodgers’ tax letter from Bruce Kelly to all Village property owners was discussed.

XIV.    ADJOURNMENT

Motion:  To adjourn the meeting.
